Bump for awesomeness, I'm always a sucker for free(ish) mods. I spoke with S~Factor when I first picked up my car at the beginning of summer hoping I would make it down there but I just couldn't this summer. The mod bug has been itching, so:
I lined up some tape just below the bottom body line all the way across. I like the 90* cuts and straight left and right sides, but I'm not a fan of the point cut at the bottom near the exhaust, so I spaced an inch between the vertical cut and the cut near the exhaust (if that makes sense):
After measuring and measuring and measuring to make sure both sides were as equal as they can be, I traced it around with a sharpie to get the outline as it was getting late and this was done at a friends house:
I'm going to remove the bumper and start cutting on Thursday afternoon. I'll be using a dremel so I plan on going slow as to not burn the plastic. I'm hoping to have at least a clean etched outline on Thursday (if I can't finish completely) and be done this weekend.
Thank you so much for the inspiration!
