Exactly, there was a thread a while back about a guy who bought a hardtop from ebay for that price, and he said there were fitment issues. Ultimately, if I remember correctly, the verdict was that he could have bought a real hardtop with all the money that was spent making it fit.

Hardware will cost $500 or so, and $1500 for an ebay replica, often badly fitting, top is just not worth it.

thats about right guys for a knock off. $1500 before primer, paint and GUARANTEED needed prepork, pputs you around 2500, just buy the real thing sheesh.
