We are doomed.

If possible, drive a nondescript vehicle. It may not be fair, but it's human nature to notice things that stand out from the crowd. Bright-colored cars, those with loud exhaust or other pimped-out enhancements are the cars more likely to draw a cop's initial attention than ordinary-looking, family-type cars. Since the cop has to single out one car, which car do you suppose is the likely candidate for a speeding ticket? The bright yellow S2000 with Volks wheels? Or the silver Taurus?

If you do get pulled over while driving a fancy, high-profile car, your odds of getting a speeding ticket versus a warning have probably gone up. If you're driving a fast-looking Import convertable, the cop is going to assume you use it and deserve a ticket more than the guy in a family-looking ride whose plea that he "didn't realize he was speeding, officer" comes off as more believable.

Question:
If there's a 'train' of cars cruising in the left lane @ 15 or so over, and the cop pulls out; will he get the lead car? Last car? Better to 'hide' in the middle?

I've seen it when they have multiple cars set-up and pull iseveral cars over at a time, but typ w/ one cop what do you think?

whoever pulls over. ive seen it happen. And one of my cop buddies does it sumtimes. they will pull up behind the crowd and see who pulls over first.

and if that doesnt happen last gets screwed unless the one of the other group is going a lot faster then everyone else

OUT the window. roll the window down, and put them out of the car, palms towards the officer.

another nice way to avoid a speeding ticket is learn from my mistakes...

i got one recently for 80 in a 55.....not super fast but enough to still #### you.

$170 to the court plus another $300 to DMV for "driver responsibility assessment".....PLUS 6 points gauranteed!!!

I'm sooooo pissed right now...
