That's the largest heat exchanger laminova makes, you can choose what size water / oil fitting you want on it. I'd also give kraftwerks a call and order their mounting brackets unless you can fab up something (I don't have a welder on hand ).
I agree on the oil temps. I've heard a min of 225 even just to be sure the water is boiling off and it's just oil. I guess for now I'll try plumbing it in the stock location with the stock thermostat. If that doesn't work maybe I'll try a lower temp thermostat (like spoon) and if it's still a major issue, the lower radiator pipe will have to be tapped with some kind of water pump integrated to maintain flow even when the thermostat is closed.

What's the proper Forum etiquette, bring up an old thread or make a new one with the same subject?
I need some insight...
Anyways, I'm looking into getting the Laminova for my turbo S. I'm trying to figure out how to plumb the thing... If I use the same water source as the OEM oil cooler (which is currently used to cool my turbo), where would I plumb coolant for the turbo? Or is there a better place to plumb the Laminova? Should I tap new lines into the radiator?
I'm thinking of picking up the EC54 with possibly a thermastat... is that overkill?
My setup is:
Full race (Ram Horn) with GT30r76 .82A/R.
relocated oil filter
Koyo and modded integra FAL fans (yet to be installed, but in the garage)
AEM EMS 1052U
Edit: I also live in Sunny California. From search, I'm assuming a thermostat isn't needed?
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any info, you guys rock.
