A full gallon weighs 8 lbs once it dries up. From what I understand, a gallon is enough to cover the entire trunk and the doors. It claims to insulate better than Dynamat. Let me be the guinee pig. I'll try it out and I'll let you know.

Ray let me know how it turns out. I dont mind insulating the whole interior of the car from outside noise as well as the trunk. Since the car is stripped down it may make it easier to do as well.

Hmm I think I am going to have to use that stuff as well. Will be really nice to reduce dronw! That and header wrap should help out a good bit I think.

Have you ever published what tools/dremel bit you used to cut both the hood skin and the bumper skin? I thought the roto-zip style bit might work for both followed up with a drum sander with fine grit on an air drill? Any thoughts?

Nice car, great ideas, and very well executed.

How did you mount the HKS to make it a center exhaust?

...and what bumper is that?

as far as i know Ray used his knowledge to get his hks to fit in the center..abit of welding and placement

his bumper is a custom bumper he made himself...all cutting

Awesome stuff Ray... It's all about evolving. I am inspired by your guts to do all of this yourself. Big thumbs up!
