I am, but i never go into triple digits though...
I found out in all my years of being pulled over, if you're respectful and apologitic(word?) you increase your chance by a whole lot. Another useful tool would be a badge.

Yeah, definitely! But I read the whole thing and couldn't decide what to remove...
When you meet me, you will see that I do indeed have lots to say!

ok ok. Well during my normal hours of going back and forth to work I dont, after-work curricular activities are different, anything can happen, or any speed can be reached.
And Bill, what are you taking in?

Great post.
As a part time musician I was travelling back home late at night on a upstate 'turnpike'
Anxious to end my week, I was moving, and then BAMMM my Escort went off, I passed the hidden cop, and pulled over, before he put his lights on.
Put the flashers on, lite the interior, threw my wallet up on the dash, rolled down the window and hands on the wheel.
After a brief question and answer period, I explained I was a part time musician making some extra cash (showing him the equipment) and working full time, I was anxious to get home and collapse.
Handed back my reg and license, told me to slow down and get home in one piece.
No ticket !
Took the stress level out of the situation and was strait forward.
In regards to the "shield" we call them "rabbits" and prefer fast moving SUV's. they are easy to keep your eye on and the brake lights are mounted higher.
We have two Passports in the family ,which work perfect in the S (No power cord)
This saved out butts on countless occasions. Not to be completely relied upon, but a great early warning system.
Again fantastic post
