I have this nasty flu that's been kicking my ass since the weekend. I took yesterday off to recuperate, but having a neighbor who happens to be a professional detailer means that my sick day is now a detailling day!
i havent washed or waxed my car since november, and shes been inside the garage since then. i pulled her out yesterday and she was covered in a thick coat of dust and salt! she was then washed, compounded, clayed then waxed^3. the engine bay got a quick once over, but it started getting way to cold and my sickness started coming back hard.
if anyone else in the area is interested in a good detailer, my neighbor is very good and he also does stereos as well. drop me a line and i'll refer you to him.
i just spoke to my neighbor and he said that he'd do our cars for $130, but outside of his shop and within his garage here in new city, ny. if he was to do it at his shop, he'd have to charge *a lot* more. he details cars for some choice dealerships in the rockland/westchester area and the price he charges them is unbelievable!
you could bring your car to his partners shop in englewood, nj.. or his stereo shop in spring valley, ny., but it'd be more than double the price. they do celebrity cars and stuff in the englewood location, and mostly stereo stuff in the spring valley shop.. perhaps one day i'll go on down to jersey and give my baby the star treatment.
on a side note.. hey paul, geoff wants to know when you want to get your ICE done. he's now the only authorized dealer for eclipse in the area, and they really have some sweeeet stuff for 04'.
repairman jack - thanks! i want to get the same plate for my bike, but i guess that would mean that i'd have to buy another bike soon . and umm.. the wheels arent for sale.. yet, and i believe that theres already a waitlist for them.
Tell Geoff Snipes and I have nice golf inventory for trade and we don't want anyting major like Nibble's 10 TV, 4 sub, custom RED 28 psi enclosure set up.
