Default S2000 Daily Driver????

Who here uses their S as a daily driver??? I drive to school (Manhattan) daily from LI in my old car. But being away from my S which is in Miami is killing me. Im trying to justify bringing it up here. What is your advice. I know the roads are kinda bad in Manhattan and the traffic is horrible but what are your experiences with driving the S. Many Thanks

In horrible traffic it can become monotonous as any stick shifter can, that and the buffeting from the bad roads can eventually get on your nerves. That being said, when my S was in storage in my garage during winter I would still take it out once a week just because it was killing me not to drive it.

As of today, 43,000 miles worth as a daily driver. Screw the miles, rock chips etc...it's a car, drive that sucker!

MY02, I've gone through less than a quarter tank of gas in the last two months. Don't worry, I'll make up for it doing the Dragonball Run in a few weeks.

I have 8K miles on my car. 1 year anniversary on Sept. 29.

RoBD305 : I drive mine everyday.... Isn't that what its for, mine an 02
I have about 22,000 but I only drive like a mile to work or I'd have more
I drive it everyday... Rain, Snow, etc.... This is a great car and although
I don't knock those who Sunny- Sunday drive it .... Even If I had a second
car I don't imagine I'd drive the beater that much..... Just spend a couple
of buck for some snow tires.... Don't even try and drive in the snow with
the stock SO's get some snow tires put some weight in the trunk and
you'll be fine..... Good luck with your car

I think you are jealous of my low miles. Hey, it rains all the time here in Florida, so I don't drive it, that's what a second car is for. If I was RoBD305, I wouldn't drive it just for the sake of driving it. The less you drive it, the more it's new to you when you do.

I dont know...it really is killing me not being able to drive my car. I'm in college for about 8 months out the year. So eight month without my S is really torture. I only been away for it a week and its already killin me...lol I dont mind the miles at all. I got over 11,000 that I put on her in the 4 months I drove it (must be close to a record). I'll definately have snow tires on if I decide to bring her up. But is their any bad effects of the bad road conditions on the car??? ie springs/suspension going bad? Many thanks
