hey can you pm me and tell me how did you lowered your seats all the way to the ground?

I actually get a lot of PMs regarding this.
There are a couple of drawbacks when doing this:
1. The seat will no longer be adjustable back and forth.
2. You will need to trim your railing by a lot, so if you're thinking of eventually selling your seats, that might cause a problem.
3. Everything is irreversible. So once you trimmed it, its gone!
The upside:
1. You get to lower your seat 2".
2. This will give you more legroom (leg against steering wheel).
3. Better hand placement on the shifter and steering wheel.
4. Your head will not stick above the OEM rollhoop if you're 6 to 6'2".
5. Since the seat is not adjustable, thieves can't steal it easily.
A couple of photos:
I made a custom bracket to lower the mounting hole 2".

Just edited my post... its irreversible. To be honest, I have done this so long ago, I don't even remember what I've trimmed. I do know the most important one that needs trimming is where the back seat bolts on to. That needs to be cut fully. Also the mechanism that you lift to move the seat back and forth, that is in the way of lowering the front end of the seat.

Been working on getting some cooler air to my (very) short intake. I actually been trying different set ups but I think this is the best way without actually cutting a hole somewhere (not that it has stopped me before ).
I finally opened up the small air ducts in the bumper.
The 3" air duct should be facing directly at the bumper opening.
The other end will be connected to a radiator heat shield I am making.
Waiting to be installed... I guess I can wait until next spring for these. Going to be installing these with 2" air brake ducts.

Got a new toy, Ingells Stiffy Engine Damper.
Cleaned up the wirings on top of the intake manifold. Removed a couple of emission hoses. Completely shorten the throttle cable. Added a few steel-braided tubes.
Painted the radiator fans and shrouds black.
...and some finished shots of the trunk.
Battery relocated.
New subwoofer box with a new 10" Alpine Type E Sub.
Sub is hidden to give more trunk room.
Amp tray.
