Hey does anyone know of a good quality restoration shop around the New York Metro area? Not a body shop, a restoration shop. Thanks.

 

I don't know how good they are, but I've heard of Automat in Hicksville, NY. I think I remember hearing that they are a bit pricey.

MIL's car is being restored. '88 Lincoln Town Car. White leather interior. A real quality job.
only thing is it's taking F O R E V E R. As in several months.
Of course, we're not complaining as she's 80 yrs old, blind in one eye and has a bad hip.
It's a great reason for her not to drive.

BUT if you want fast work, I don't think they'd be the right shop.

Gibraltar Motors in Garden City does resto body work. Excellent quality but you will pay.
