Default Rageing at UPS right now

This kind of reminds me of UPS' screw up with joey and his wheels...

So a package was coming today that I had to sign for. Perfectly enough, this friday is my off friday (we have 9 hour work days) so I would be home to sign for it. I really needed today as I was planning on making a day trip because of the contents of the package. Well I sit around all day watching and decide to go upstairs and work on a room wer're redoing. While I'm sanding the walls, I hear a bang outside...it was the UPS guy driving away!

I ran downstairs and sure enough, there was a notice saying I wasn't home (?!). The mother****** never knocked on the damn door, just left!!!!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm in the room directly above the door and there was no knock! I heard the damn truck door close though. wtfffffffffffffffffffffff

So now I'm rageing as this is the only day I'll be here to get it (apparently they don't deliver on saturdays anymore?!), so I call corporate and place a complaint. I told her what happened, she apologized, and said the local facility would call me within an hour so they could call the driver and tell him to go back. In the meantime, I saw him drive by my house so I'm getting annoyed that probably by the time they call he will be gone.

Well THREE hours later, they call and obviously tell me it's to late for him to turn around...well if you called me when you said you would he would still be here!....ugh, so now I have to drive 30 min to the stupid facility later tonight because THEY screwed up in the first place.

Just venting as I'm very annoyed about this. Granted, they are a hell of a lot better then fedex is about this kind of stuff...don't even get me started on those idiots

I know that feeling for future packages.. Just put a note on the door saying Please leave package by the door if no one is home to sign, along with your signature they always leave my package when I do that.

Nothing hurt more then when I finally had enough to buy my BBS LM's from tire rack brand new. Sold everything I owned to buy them and waited by my door every day after i pushed that button. UPS pulls in and Im out side waiting while he is still in the truck. Sounded like he threw them across the truck Thank god Tire rack does a nice job of packaging there wheels

man, the drivers aren't even the worst ones. i used to work for a retail ups store and the drivers and I would chat everyday at pickup. The horror stories I've heard at the hubs and during transit. Fragile stickers are usually an invite for playing soccer with your box Most workers don't care, and damage fees is paid by corporate anyway. Moral of the story: make sure your shit is packed right lol

I've used USPS for countless years now and have maybe shipped out thousands of items. Never have I had something damaged or lost.

USPS ftw? or no?
