Question: Is it bad push starting the S (i dont mean push start button)...I try pushed starting the S earlier, since stupid me left the music runnin for about 2 hrs then the batt died out...i tried it for about 7 tries or so, then just thought about it, I need to push the button to the start the car...finally someone had a jumper cable, so I got it started but suddenly I have a check engine light... ...is this a problem...need feedbacks thx...

i push started my bro's car.. just rolled it down our driveway (slight incline), and let off the clutch while in gear and held the start button.. it started up fine!

a push start shouldnt cause a check engine light. pull the code and see what it is. auto zone does it for free.
