Default Question about points and insurance.QUICK!

My sister got a speeding ticket and was wondering if she goes to court and gets rid of the 4 points, does that mean her insurance will not go up?
or does insurance go up regardless?
she's short on money so if insurance goes up regardless then she will just pay the ticket and try to be more careful from now on..

yea in nj there is no surcharge in nj if you have 2 points. if you have more than two points then your insurance will go up. but try and get the 4 points off no matter what the fine...just know if you get all 4 removed now you can only get one other ticket reduced to no points (two in five years) in nj at least

thats true with insurance points but I got an 8 point ticket reduced to 2 and my insurance didn't go up. Tell her after she clears up the ticket to take a defensive driving class for insurance reduction not for point if she gets the ticket reduced to no points
