Default Please Help With Clearing Headlights!!!!!!!!!

hey all,

me and my friend tried to clear my headlights on my S2000 but we failed. We could not pry open the headlights no matter how hard we tried!! and he didnt want to break the plastic so he just stopped. would there someone be out there willing to clear my headlights??? I will pay you whatever you want as long as its reasonable cuz i tried and its not workin. Please let me know, maybe we can work something out. thanks

How far are you from NYC? I might be free Wednesday if not then Saturday morning is usually open for me.

put it in the oven 225 F for 15min.

on a towel though coz u dont want to melt the plastic just in case. sk turbo_pwr his name is dan he'll give u guide lines on wha to and what not to do. good luck and when ur done post pics. peace out =p

Oh god I hope he baked them before trying to pry it open. Did you follow the directions in the library?

yeah he tried everything. NYCS2, i am about 20 minutes away from the city, if u are willing to do it, and i will pay you, i would definitely want them done. Dan, i believe u were clearing headlights back in july or something, i shouldve signed up then and gotten them done. all i know is my friend said he put them in the oven over and over again and the glue was so frieken hard! and then he tried to pry them open but didnt wanna break them so he stopped. so please will someone still help me!

you gotta preheat the oven. patience dude. at least 20 minutes in the oven. when we did them it was 20 to soften the adhesive and 10 more to cure the headlight afterwards.

yeah but my friend says he doesnt wanna do them again and im kinda nervous to do them myself, hes already told me no. ive told him all these ways on how to properly do it like u guys have told me, but he still said no. i just need someone to do them, please. i can ask him one more time but i know he'll say no.

it's really not that hard. i mean all of us were somewhat nervous about baking something from our cars.
