Places to park by San Gennaro
Im going into NYC tonight for San Gennaro feast again.
Im contimplating either driving into and parking like on E Houston or Bowery.... either in a` garage OR on the street... most likely if I DO drive, itll be in a lot, as Im bringing the S.
the question is.... whats a good and safe place to actually park where I dont have to worry about the car while Im stuffing my face?
OR--- Do I just take NJ Transit to 'Boken, then the Path to 14th, to the F. then to the 6 Train....
I love public transportation, but to go 2 miles "downtown" its gonna take me 45 mins via subway.
I dunno....
Help

I would do Public Transportation... but that's just me. I'd rather wait 45 min to get only so far than to come back to a scratched S... that would annoy the #### out of me if I decided to bring the S and something like that should happen.
There was one time I was in the city walking and a taxi cab pulled up with some people getting out and he pulled right next to a brand spanking new black 350z. When the first girl gets out of the taxi, she swung the door full open and it caught the 350z. I walked around to see the damage, and there was a nice yellow, dented scratch that was about 1 inch wide and about 3 inches long. The car still had temp plates on it... Ouch.

Plus... if you say it's a feast, you're going to have a lot of drunk people walking around and knowing how our cars catch everyone's attention, there's a way better chance that some drunk fool will vandalize the S.
