Well, after driving for about 5 hours and meeting new people I'd have to say it was a worthwile trip! Luckily there were no accidents, but there were some screeching tires and an unfortunate pull-over (me and jay thanks to Harriman state police).

nice pics... thanks for posting...sorry about the pull over - happy about the burnt rubber - cool day! got to the pool, played with the kids & saw plenty of bikinis - best of both worlds today!

me and jay got off the palisades parkway and got into "spirited driving mode".........but of course, there were some snails in front of us, so we just slowed down and waited a bit to go. We finally go and must have blew past an unmarked cop. In the meantime, another snail came up, so we slowed to a complete stop again. I look in my rear view and theres a blue Impala behind me, so I signal them to go around me and as soon as I did that the Red and White flashers went on.....CRAP! Luckily though he was a nice guy and just let us off with some "wise words" I think he thought we just stopped for him to be nice haha
