allen, thats an HDR shot right. 3 shots with a nueteral/ underexposed and over exposed levels merged ????

do you want to a camera to take regular pictures or do you want to be like these guys above?

if you want just a regular camera to just take regular pictures... then just get a compact digital... but if you want a camera that will enable you to take "photographs" and edit different parameters to better take photos as well as get into the artsy world of it.. then go for a dslr

i picked up this canon rebel xti again, not too expensive and is a great camera to start with and leanr alot.

you can get a kit one now for like $679
