Remember guys, ANYONE can auto-x. There's no requirements or anything except that you have a car that isn't an SUV, van or truck.

So if you're a first-timer, just come out and have fun. I'll be there to show you around.

They have loaner helmets

I use them. They are perfectly fine

This is my 6th event and I have used loaner helmets every time with no issue.

I'll look for my helmet. Don't loaner helmets get a little, um..."damp" in hot weather?

Nope. Most likely, you will keep the same helmet the whole time usually. Like I said, I've NEVER had that problem.

If anything, just bring a helmet you have. There are certain standards technically, but since autocross is a very safe sport they aren't too strict.

A full head helmet like a ski helmet should work. Visor is not needed and will probably be bad.

OH YEAH, and you need duct tape to put your # on your car. That's it.

I'm really looking forward to AutoX again. Haven't done it since my old beat-up '91 325ic with blown shocks that I "drove the s*it out of" according to course workers

I've only attended the BMW CCA AutoX at Nassaau Col. You get 3 runs in the morning, 3 runs in the afternoon and work the cones in between. Same deal with the PCA AutoX?
