Good Luck Ray. I'd die if I could only drive my S around the block. No wonder I haven't seen you this summer. No meets on your block?

Yea guys, it sucks... BUT... I got the car insured and registered today. Been driving ever since I got the plate on! I'm thinking by Thursday the ECU has done its cycle and I could go to DMV and get it inspected. Hopefully the CEL does not come back by then (KNOCK ON WOOD). :CROSSFINGERS:

I heard that you have to go at a certain speed for a period of time. Let the engine cool down and then go again... or something like that.

Ray,

When i was driving my car stock to get my inspection sticker, I did 2-3 full cold starts and 15-20 miles of O2 feedback cruising, ie highway driving and I was able to pass inspection. This was with an 05 ECU in my 2001, so you should be fine with what you've already done. Goodluck and congrats on getting your car up and running!

Yea, Kels. I am good for now. Thanks for offering to swap parts... just couldn't wait so I installed the simulator now. I guess I'll take a rain check. I am not home free yet.

The Simulator should work fine.. I put one in Jacko's car yesterday and have been thru 4 ecu cycles, almost 200miles, now with no cel's.
