Thanks for the replies fellas...

The ticket isn't that much $35 but I'm tight on cash as it is but I just wanted to fight it because the lady was being a bitch about it and pissing me off. I tried to look for any wrong numbers but I think she took her sweet time and wrote me a mistake-free ticket. Oh well... life goes on... without $35.

exactly, why most people don't fight parking tickets. But since in NYC fines have doubled since Bloomberg took office, some folks got creative. You pay $50 or $100, that's the choice basically if you use them.

i was once smoking a ciggy 10 ft from my car at a mall garage entrance and some lady was writing me a ticket and it was obvious i had a few minutes left. i said' what are you doing?!' she ran off while mumblin 'oh this is the wrong car..' blah blah
