Mid-Town East side and west side are terrible. Although if you work where I do, you get a corporate discount. lol. If anyone is ever in a bind and needs to park near times square for a long period of time. Say up to 18 hours, let me know and I can meet up with you and hook it up. 18 hours for 18 bucks. Not a bad deal.

Great thread guys.

BTW, it's ok to park in these facilities for a few consecutive days, right?

The lot at 42nd is a 24/7 operation so I'm sure you can stay for several days/overnight.
The outdoor lot on 11th Ave at around 60/61street is also the type where I've seen cars there for several days.

Okay. The hotel I'm staying at charges $40/day to park... I think.

- once you are off from GWB, take exit to fort lee. within Fort Lee Exit, there are two exits. DO NOT take first.
- TAKE SECOND Exit. to Center Ave. at the stop sign (Center Ave), make Right.
- At first signal light (Bridge Plaza N.), make Right.
- At first signal light (Lemoine Ave.), Make Right.
- At first signal light (Bruce Reynolds Blvd.), Make Right.
- Parking lot entrance is on Left soon after Port Authority Police station.

If anyone else needs to find a parking near union square, try one on 8th and broadway, (one that goes down, there are two parking garages on same entrance) They have big ass lot for each cars and attendents are very friendly, and i have never had any problem with car for more than 2 years now, plus its $15 if you enter before 10 and leave by 6pm.
And if you are going into this one, watch out when you getting up the curb, SLOW DOWN. You may bottom out.

For upper east, go to the one in 69th btw 2and3rd ave. There are 3 garages on that street, and one on the left as soon as you get into 69th street is the one to go. I have been parking with them for more than 4 years now and they care about my cars like theirs. They sometimes give you the free parkings if you get close to them along with free carwash !!!!
Price is ~30 bucks i think, but if you are students around that area, its $10 all day long. !!!!! Also hand carwash in there is $10.

Oh yea, these are underground parking lots, just fyi.

I heard about this website on the radio and it seems to be up to date and will locate parking most anywhere in NYC.

When I go to time square I usually take the Lincoln Tunnel and then I park at Port Authority's parking lot. It's not bad pricing although I can't remember how much it is at this point in time
