I took time off from school in boston, having only one year to go to finish with an Economics degree. The past few years have been a life changing experience to say the least. What i learnt out of the classroom visiting other countries, working and meeting new people have really helped me get a new perspective on the world and the value of an education. Each person has their own path in life and i give people alot of respect if they have become successful without needing the silly little piece of paper. I know myself and i NEED the degree to be able to persue the goals i have for myself. My latin teacher taught me a very important lesson about life, "Semper Ubi Sub Ubi".
I might not have a degree...but I bet that I spent more time in a classroom working towards my electronics education than most electronics engineers...
Lets see...8hrs a day, 5 days a week, 6 months straight... (that's approx the equivalent of 40hrs of coursework a week the way college hours are counted, yo) - and that was just electronics
So, I say...Education is important, but not necessarily a college degree...

Who says I don't have fun?
I have 3 days a week off...no homework...and most of the time I'm at work, I'm sitting around waiting for stuff to break (like the Maytag man, only probably paid better)...
Although, college was/were a great time...lol
