Oh shit... soft top came in the mail. Rays cutting my quarters on sunday. And new rims are getting powdercoated while im on vacation. Then im doing the unthinkable... plasti dipping the car. No im not into the plasti dip stuff its just temporary to make sure i want to drop the loot on the paintjob since its the same color ( want to make sure i like a $5k paintjob before i spend $5k on it haha ) and then the soft top goes on on the 15th of june. 234 better be ready for the beast hahaha

Yeah i bought another robbins cloth top... same exact one i sold you hahaha. I was going to get a hardtop but then did a bit of researching... and while im not knocking them it seems the aftermarket ones arent as good as a legit mugen or oem. And even the spoon hardtop is pretty bad and thats not even the replica. I figured it would be best to spend that money elsewhere and enjoy the fact i can go topless in the summer hahaha. Plus i can use that money on some omp seats and a rsg rollbar hahahaha. That will be winter mods though. I spent enough dough for now. But yeah i cant wait to get back to 234 and even stay for food this time. Sucks the car will be plastidipped instead of painted but oh well who gives a shit hahaha

Glad your back on track with the car. Plasti dip was a fad. I still don't see any real good ones in person. It is probably fun to do while you test the waters on a color and looks good if your going the matt finish way. It Can look aggressive if accessorized right.

I agree with the hard top. Nothing fits like OEM and authentic Mugen. That is if your very particular like me lol

How's the weather getting up there guys? I been in Tampa this past week and It's about a 10 degree difference with much cooler nights than Miami. I have gotten so used to the heat that I had to one click the heater the other night driving home Lmao.

Alot of people do the plasti dip with rattle cans and it comes out stripey.. and when they do use the gun they spray like painting by moving their wrist in a sweep. You need to lock it and spray atraight across. And i have seen alot of people do crazy thick coats too its not good. Not saying mine is going to look any better but im gonna take pride in it knowing if its done wrong it will look like shit so im taking my time.

Maybe your car will be done by the time I head up there in July, Kohl. I envision your car looking crazy aggressive with a matte finish.

Ok guys going to be putting in for my vacation this week. Tony, how does a mega 234 BBQ on July 13 and 14th sound? I am most likely going to be around from the 4th but need to plan it all out. Tony, put up the bat signal!!! Hope to see you all there.

I actually missed this because I was out in Tampa for work and got back to Miami too late.
