Hey tony did you figure out a fix for the mirror. By the way want to let 234 know, its been a while since my last visit and i apologize, i cant wait to get back and get my hands dirty, hang with cool people and have some great food. But right now im stuck at a point of doing maintenace and repairs, or actually doing my car right the way i want it. So i may be away for a bit, but i promise its for a reason, as part of the 234 jersey chapter ( hahahaha ) i want to rep it hard, so im bringing my A- game. When the cars done its gonna be a shocker and a stunner. Some may not like the look or style im going for, but its gonna be beast with bark and bite. So when its finally done and i make it back to 234 dont be surprised to be shocked. Im building the car up quality wise not brand wise, which means even more $$$ to do. But thats ok as long as its built how i want it. I got this in my head after seeing my buddys custom work wheels ( only set ever made by work in the width and offset, their so dirty my god ) and custom mounted alcon rotors and carbon race discs, i was shocked. He spent so much $$$ and at first i was like wtf ?? Seriously, until i realized why he did it, because it works, its rare because its true quality,.. and god damn is it pretty. Got my head spinning to do it up right. And once its done ill be proud to slap my 234 sticker on it and rock the shit out of it. And ill be sure to post progress pics once i start the project. Look forward to seeing you all again real soon.

Sounds good, Kohl. You are excited about it to say the least. Don't worry about what we or anyone say. Do you and enjoy the car. I can't wait to see the Plasti-dip paint job. Even though I am not a fan, I am sure you will do something nice and are taking no short cuts. I have a mental picture in my head of what your car will look like and I can't wait to see the beast. Give us some teasers and before and after pics here!

I have to go back to gardella to have the car repaired and painted, and i got a great deal on a silverstone repaint, i was actually going to wait a few weeks to let the paint cure then plastidip it, but after talking to gary i realized it would be about the same amount to just repaint the whole car flat black. Only part that wouldnt get painted would be the engine bay. But im fine with that because i want to do a tuck to the bay then paint it some off the wall scheme. I really want the car wide and low, so i need to pick up the downforce wide fenders and get my wheels powdercoated, tony said since day one,... Patience young grasshopper, and he was right. I cant even begin to explain how much it hurts seeing my car in the condition its in. So i feel as if i owe her something. So taking my time and doing it right the first time. At some point in time im considering rebuilding the motor as well. Theres alot of little things that need to be done still but its ok. I know shell be looking good once shes done, and once parts start coming in ill start my build thread this way its not just the same picture for weeks on end hahaha

If you can see if you can have the rears done at a shop, its a bitch since its a double skin, and its real touchy warming up the fender without scorching the paint
