Default Oldie but a goodie

my new cable system has BBC TV perhaps the best thing i like about my new home is watching Top Gear again...

This is my favorite clip from the show, i'm sure most of you have seen it by now if not clicky clicky and bring yourself back to a time when the AP1 beat everything that germany or japan could throw at it.

"you've got the wrong car" love that guy...

the S came in last by .1 of a second. But it's ok, that .1 second me lost on the track we gained in the time it takes to put our top down. "Never believe the Germans."

Here are the times:
1:37.0 - Porsche Boxster (very wet)
1:37.3 - BMW Z4 3.0i (very wet)
1:37.4 - Honda S2000 (very wet)

I'd say that on a dry track we'd get a hell of a lot better times and probably make up those tenths of seconds seperating the cars.

The S2k definitely would have been on top if it was dry. The extra power didn't mean very much in the wet.

Would have been a lot quicker if it was an AP2. (source: Pocono 2009)
