Default Oil for NJ Weather

I was planning to switch oil to the delvac 1 5w40 that I have been reading up on. I was wondering if it would be best to do so considering the NJ weather we have. If you have any other suggestions, don't hesitate.

thats why I was just wondering to see if it would be appropriate. Haven't switched oil yet, so I'm still figuring out what's best

I have always used Mobil 1 10w-30 in my s2k, and when I first switched over from dino oil it definitely felt smoother.
