NJ Restaurant Suggestions Please ??

Do you mean the Mason Jar in Mahwah?
I'm not a big brunch eater but I think Amanda's in Hoboken has brunch.

This past Christmas my friends organized a holiday brunch at the Porter House in Montvale. The food was o.k. but it seemed a little pricey. Buffet style with omeletes, roast, etc. Decent Bloody Marys. As I said I'm not a big brunch fan so who knows maybe it was good as brunch goes.

mister_two,
You may want to look into the South City Grill in Jersey City. I've been to the one in Rochelle Park for dinner (very good) and you might want to check out brunch (http://www.southcitygrill.com/). It looks like they have a Jazz brunch on Sundays.
Eliot,
This is one of the few seafood places I would recommend in the area.
Regards,
Michael

Thanks all -- we ended up at a little Italian place in the s.w. part of Clifton called Marios ... nothing fancy and we were practically the only customers (we were there early).
I am saving a link to this thread for the next time we are in that area .

Eliot,
You disappointed me (j/k). I was waiting to see which place got the nod and to get a review.
If you plan on spending any additional time in the area, I would strongly recommend Rutt's Hut, just to say you have been there. My all-time favorite hot dog place. They deep-fry Thuman's dogs until the skin bursts. They have a special relish that is the best. Great fries. Have never sat in the bar section up-front...usually go to the rear of the building for the stand-up counter. A real gem.
