Which next car do I get?
Hey everyone, this car is kind of for me but kind of not. So my work will give me $ back if I purchase a hybrid vehicle. There is an old car in the family and this is a great opportunity (and well timed since it now has started acting up) to replace it.
So I have looked at the likely answers but maybe there is something I am overlooking. The car should allow two adults in the back comfortably(3-series size to midsize is fine, not larger than that). Cargo is not a huge concern.
The Prius, as great as the vehicle is, I really did like it--but no one else does so it's not going to make the cut. I have looked at the Jetta Hybrid in person but have yet to drive it. Personally, I would love a TDI but I won't get money back from my company for one. The Jetta hybrid has a decent interior and is leading the choices right now. I have seen the new Civic Hybrid on the road quite a bit on my commute. They look nice. Anyone have experience with the Jetta or Civic hybrid? Or the regular gas car in general?
The Jetta has a 1.4l turbo hybrid with a dual clutch 7 speed transmission. Not that I will be racing it but I wonder if it feels better than the CVT in the Civic for daily driving purposes?
I know I am all over the place but any feedback would be great! Thanks guys.

He needs two adults to fit in the rear..a four seater. Get a civic. If money is no option get a 4 series

haha if I get a Tesla I am also eligible to get a rebate from my company but it's not enough for me to afford one right now lol
I went on truecar and the Jetta Hybrid SE (leather and other little things) can be had for 21,9xx+ttl+doc, the Civic Hybrid base is 22,5xx+ttl+doc. So it's very similar. Maybe I just need to drive both but on paper I like the Jetta. I am just scared it will see shop time if the reputation holds up to be true.
