Thanks for all the advice, I'm on my phone and its not letting me copy and paste the link. It's been on ebay 3x. The way I see it the car should be worth around 7 which is what the price of salvage ones sell for. Front bumper needs to be painted also so now I'm thinking that the front of the car will need paint to blend everything. I know I should save up to get a better one but this will be a 3rd car for me that I really don't need. I've always wanted one though

i think you need to go look at it. pop the hood and look at the panels. check in the trunk too. pull the trunk carpeting out and see what lurks underneath. you have no idea if the repairs were major or done by a good shop. you could have 14 lbs of bondo on 1 panel. be careful and do a thorough inspection. also, make sure it's mechanically sound. check for leaks or weird sounds. see how the owner cares for the car. is it clean?

Take a magnet to check for the bondo, 5 accidents is a lot.

I saw the car today and it was really rough, seller was advertising the car as recommending a bumper re spray when the whole car needed paint. There was peeling bondo under the hood, the car Made noises from what sounded like the pulleys but when I said something he said he already changed pulleys. The weirdest thing to me was, while the car was parked and left on the front passenger tire was vibrating to the point we're if I put my hand on the tire ( which I pointed out to him) my arm was shaking. Not sure what the heck that is but it can't be normal.

I took a pic of the car but I don't know how to post it. Car is on cl ny/li for 12k. Trunk was missing carpet. Just a mess overall. I offered him 6k and he said no. I didn't bother driving the car just told him I'd pass. Thanks for the help so far, I'm sure I'll be asking lots more questions soon
