Default New look for 2013

Hey guys, just finished up wrapping my S2k in 3M Matte Metallic Blue & Matte Black and wanted to share. I purchased the vinyl from Auto Vinyl Solutions and received excellent customer service and tips from Tommy.

I wanted to prove to myself that one person can accomplish this task with no assistance like the pro's. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and helped a good friend wrap his front bumper before I finally committed to getting this done.

Let's just say that wrapping an S on your own takes an astounding amount of patience, especially on the bumpers. Many times during the wrap it will test you and you'll get to a point when you just want to give up, but like i said before a lot of patience and persistence to get it done will get you through it.

Every panel came apart for the wrap and let me tell you our door handles are one of the worst things I've ever taken apart on this car, mind you that I was an ASE certified Tech for over 10 years and have built my car from the ground up on my own.

On to the pics... Enjoy

Before the wrap

After...

Thanks for looking />/>/>

Wow. Looks beautiful in the pictures, would love to see it in person some time. How long did it take you to finish the job alone? Also do you apply the wrap wet or dry?

for a great job.

Thanks . Took a little close to 100 hrs with full dis-assembly of all the parts. 3M is dry only
