Thanks Bill, I strongly agree with the adult mentality on this forum. It's what separates us from the undesired forums and we want to keep it like that. I've been setting up meets in the Jersey area for a while now with the intent of getting everyone back together, new and old members alike. Miss the days of huge turnouts at meets, tech days and my personal fave, the drives.

That drive was a blast, we definitively need to do that again this year. Thanks Langelo, the feelings mutual buddy!!!

We may be a little slow, but the board is of adult mentality and very drama free. And that is worth a lot.
It takes a lot of work....over a month of planning to coordinate our Dragon convoy each year and link up with other regional communties. I love doing it, and it gives people something to look forward to and keep them active. It is also a life changing experience everyone should try at least 10 times. I mean once
Some Sunday group drives would be nice. I have a complete twisty "track" laid out here on the island that I used to run with my knee dragging motorcycle buddies
I'd consider a group drive with enough interest. We do lots of parking lot pimping. Be nice to get out and enjoy some roads.
But little meets lead to those things and just keeping what we have intact is important.

But in all seriousness,metro hasn't been like it used to be when I first had my S 3 years ago but I think with a little more initiative and planning it could come back alive. Whatever happend to tech days and mini tech days?? I wouldnt mind hosting something like that. Or have a official convoy up to Adam's Detail at Detailers domain for some knowledge on detailing would be nice too.
