Default New Air Duct

Whats up everybody? Hopefully someone here has experienced the same problem i have. I just bought a PasswordJDM 2 piece air duct. Just got done about a half hour ago and the damn hood wont close. I know i can cut some of the hood off on the inside but i don't want to do that, and i neither have the tools. All my tools are on LI and I am in Manhattan so access to some of those tools are unlikely.

So if anyone here can please give me some advice on how to fix or what to do i would really appreciate it.

When I got the PWJDM intake I had problems getting the hood to close with the snorkel, ultimately I went to ray and cut the hood (he was able to save the vin number as well and now it closes flush and swell)

However!

You can (if you need to) fix the problem by raising the hood latch front the car, this will close the hood and hold it closed however it wont be flush, I also raised the passanger fender with washers to try to give it a more flush illusion..

I still strongly suggest you get the hood cut.

I was just looking at some posts by PasswordJDM, and i am looking at what they say comes with the kit and what i have, and it does not match. I contacted them, and lucky me they are closed today. I am going to see if i can get the proper nuts and bolts.

I'm not a fan of their products. I have their rear lower brace and the holes didn't line up with stock ones. I emailed them, and they asked for pics. I sent pics, but they never responded.
