Wheel sensor is on the wheel (specifically on the top back side of the hub), go figure

To check it you have to undo the wire plug to the ABS brake module (box with all the brake lines going to it). The connector is orange if I remember correctly. The helms manual has a nice write up on what to check to narrow it down

Leo, you said you had a P code. You said nothing about a wheel sensor. What is the problem with the car, I'm sure from there we help with your part.

P0720 Output Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction


here is the code ....

nothing happens to the car..
sometimes the CEL comes out after i drove for a little while..
sometimes it came right on after i turned the car on..

n mostly comes on while at a stop light, the engine idle speed went up to around 1200 than come back down 1000 or 1.100 , n than the light comes on..
n if i restart the car, the cel went away ..

P07XX are transmission codes.

Check your wiring on the drivers side of the transmission. Theres a little black sensor, on the side of the trans. That's the speed sensor.

yes i check...
nothing is wrong.. i unplug n reset the ecu.. it came back on a while later...
