Need an Excellent body shop in Westchester
To make a long story short, the wife was rear ended on xmas and we'll be needing a new rear bumper and some touch up on the front bumper.
We've brought it to two local body shops and they have stated that they cannot guarantee the match without blending the hood, fenders, trunk and rear quarters. Our insurance company has given us just enough to cover the cost of the bumper and paint. Both body shops have bumped up their prices by an additional $500-$700 for the overspray and this does not include any door portions. Meaning, the color would be different on the ends than the middle. I may be able to work this difference in price out with the insurance company, but dont need the hassle.
I feel as if theyre tring to pull a fast one on me, and would prefer to deal with a professional in the area.
I've had my Spa S2000 painted 3 times in order to get the paint right, and the third time it was a total respray to get it perfect.
Oh, this is for a premium white pearl 05 RL.

My friend had a TL with that same paint altough it wasn't a perfect match
you really couldn't tell unless the light was just so. but the place he used

Julie's fine, thank god.
Yeah, this white pearl paint is a total pain in the ass to match!
I'm halfway convinced to bring the car to the body shop that bill took your car to in order to do it right!

well I was going to suggest that you go to Elrich because they matched
my car perfect, the only time I ever noticed the difference was one night
I had the car directly under a street light and you could see the new vs
old paint but I think it was more that the new paint seems to have more
shine or light reflection then the old. Elrich is a bit far away but at least
you have seen there work with your own eyes. and many of us have used
them and would recommend there work.
Glad Julie is okay

sorry to hear about your accident, hope your wife is ok. i took my car to elrich and i was nothing but dissapointed in the paint matches. My front bumper, door handles and those little straps over the trunk are all a diff shade of silver. If it wasn't because the S is the only car i have, i would have went back and demanded to get it fixed
