Default Need to borrow/rent/buy a Fender Roller ASAP...

Hey guys, well, I finally got my new wheels on today and because of how steep my driveway is and how low my car is, the wider wheels on the front (18x8") ended up bending out my passenger side fender when I came up the driveway. Now I have a semi-dented fender that has popped down where the metal tab is. Does anyone have a fender roller that I could rent from them? This really sucks, I would like to roll them ASAP if anyone has one available. Thanks.

same thing happened to me! i just raised the car up. dont forget to break off the tabs for the fenderliner before you roll or you will dent up the fender even more

turbo_pwr has one that many people in Metro have rented, but he has moved to AZ.
He bought his here:
http://www.fenderroller.com/
but as ProjectSSAP1 just said I don't think you can roll the front fenders.

there's no lip to roll in the front. just raise the car up or get wider front fenders.

Damn... this isn't the news I was looking to hear. This kind of blows, no one ever mentioned any problems with these wheels, I would have just kept my other ones on and saved 2500. Here are some pics of the damage... there is no way that I could just cut the inner lip to allow some more clearance?

Ok...here goes...some of you will laugh...but..MANY porsche owners do this........

Get a baseball bat (preferrably a woodie, like a L.Slugger)

Stick it into the gap, push down on it (dont go crazy) and roll that lip up. I did this on my friend's 944T, and it worked great. Got the advice from Rennlist, the only other thing you need besides the bat, are balls.

Exactly !!! Mike don't do it without the heat gun. Your gonna need
to raise her up a bit because you can't roll the front fenders. Good luck !!!
