Eliot, being you live off Willis ave ... somewhere in the close proximity would be Louie's in Port Washington (Main St). They redid the building about 6 months ago, and if you're looking for local seafood, you really can't get much better locally. If you're looking for a trendier place, Bongo Bay is literally 1/10th a mile down the road from Louie's ... however I think their food isn't as good.
Hope that helps,
Dan

Damn, you guys give some good choices that escaped my mind.
Eliot, if you're talking about the place that just opened in Mineola, the Master Grill/Green Fields type a deal, don't go to it. Went there 3 weeks ago and the quality of the food was terrible.
There is also this really popular restaurant on Rt 110 going South off of Jericho which I've passed 3 or 4 times on the way home. Every time I go by, which is usually around 12- 2 ish in the morning, that place is always packed. They have an out door section right in the front, and that entire section is full with a line of people waiting to get in that extends into the streets. And this is ever time I went by it. I don't know the name of the place though, but it's on Rt 110 couple of miles before the entrance to the Southern State PKWY.
