Thumbs up Which lugs to get? Are some better than others?

Looking to get some new lug nuts for my Volk wheels. I have the oem ones and I don't like how they look silver on the gun metal wheels and I also want to be able to have locking lug nuts so my wheels won't be as easy to steal.
Don't know if I want to go with a color or anything, Seems like it might look kinda funny to have some strange color lugs. I think open ended would be best to prevent scuffing the wheels up too much when removing or installing wheels.
Any suggestions? Oh I also don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on lugs either.

Those are nice but I can't spend that much on lugs. Low on funds these days.

its not a good idea to use OEM lugs on aftermarket wheels.

Howcome?
Are the Muteki or whatever lugs decent? As long as they do what they are supposed to do thats all that really matters to me. Don't want to spend $200 for a set of lugs for ti ones or anything.

Anyone run colored ones at all? I will most likely go with black or gun metal but just wondering if anyone has any black or gun metal wheels with colored lugs. If so any pics?

the seat design is different.. the oem ones have a ball face that contacts the wheel and aftermarket have a cone shape.

Do all aftermarket ones have that? Or do I need to get a specific one? Never bought lugs before.

Oh also does anyone have red ones? Either getting red or black. Most likely black but woulnd't mind seeing red ones before deciding.

Muteki tapered lugs will be fine!
