Can a locksmith make a key without the original key to open the door, program it and turn car?

I don't have any key to open it.

A locksmith can make a key to open the door but the key needs to be programmed to start the car. This is done with special equipment. I believe the equipment is only available to Honda dealers. Billman used to be able to do this. I don't think he can any longer due to these restrictions. However the dealer can make a functional key from a code.

If you own the car, and can prove it to a dealership, they will be able to make you a key based on the VIN. It will cost a shit load though, but at least you'll have a working key again.

When I lost my key, I had a locksmith come to my house and make me 2 new keys and program them without moving the car. So yes, it's possible.
