Thumbs up Looking for gears 4.57 with Comptech

Anyone in the area have a diff. with 4.57 or 4.56 gears they want to swap for a stock diff. w/ 33,000 miles on it + Cash?
Since owned, no noises, no whine from my gears. Previous owner garaged/babied the car, and I have done the same. No launches, no abuse at all.

Your gears should have zero whine, and have similar or less mileage.
Also, we'd have to speak with Billman and schedule the swap with him, and only with him. The entire thing will be pending Billman's inspection of your diff., once apart.

Sound fair? Maybe a little too anal? Hehe.

Extras I'm interested in, but don't absolutely require:
Yellow Box
Comptech Reinforced Housing
Cryo Treated gears

Thanks.

Anyone... Maybe too many requirements?
Do you think I'll have trouble finding this kind of setup?

Exactly! That's why I didn't bother posting in the "WTB" forum.
I'll just sit and hope a local has this setup for sale

This type of transaction is about timing. Most people that have gears like them. The few people looking to get rid of gears are usually selling their cars and would do the swap just before trading the car in.
I also can't say I recall anyone in the area having a Comptech diff.

Well, I've decided not to go SC for now. Rims/Tires definitely...
And gears is my next focus.. just trying to find any local sellers.

Spec-Ops: How happy are you with your gears? Did you have them on when you were closer to sotck (no SC)? What diff. setup do you have?
