Default just got fkedddd on shipping

so i sold my turbo kit, and the buyer and i agreed to to COD through fed ex because that way its safe for both of us. i requested a money order. (a bank check can be bad if the person pulls the $ from the account before it is cashed)

anyway, i had to set up an account with fed ex. no biggie
then i go to ship all the stuff...4 boxes, packaged nicely and separately so nothing would smash around and break anything else, and i am told that COD can only be done with express, not ground.

okay no choice, so i go ahead with it. anyway the boxes werent even that heavy, the IC boxed by itself was 33lbs, the manifold and turbo was 37, the ic piping and random stuff was 25, and the AEM and injectors were like 5lbs.
i paid the extra insurance for the price of the turbo kit, anddddddd....

grand total: $340!!!! wtf!!

grrrrrrr i just took such a huge hit on the turbo kit im pissed. basically i sold EVERYTHING for 3250, someone locally could have gotten a great deal, but too late now lol

k im done venting.

wow for $340 your turbo could have had it's own seat in the airplane while snacking on those peanuts

on the paper i filled out for COD, there was no option for fedex ground. the slowest option on there was express saver. (end of third business day)

so i chose that one.

thats crazy, i ship using fed ex simply cause i have a relationship with the local shop and gave him a lot of business over the years. Nevertheless, I've never had any issues requesting cod on ground shipments either....

sorry to hear you had to got
