im not gonna rag on you, when i first started driving my parents gave me an old blazer that was used for my dads business, free gas and insurance!
i drove it for 2 months and decided i didnt want it anymore, i junked the car and the free insurance and gas went out with window with it.
my parents insurance is through my dads business so i had no choice but to be on my own policy, otherwise im sure they would help me out with mine.

I pay $986/yr for the S (full coverage with Geico). I was thinking of collector car insurance but you need to be careful, that can be a slippery slope. You need to be basically stock and make sure you're 100% truthful in how you use the car. If you use it to run an errand and get hit while in the grocery store parking lot, they may not honor the claim.

i think at 22 i was paying $2500/yr on my S with a clean record. im paying $1800 now. it dropped $600 when i turned 25. this is for full coverage. i have travelers insurance of nj. they're the cheapest i found. this is on my own plan in bergen county, nj, which has the highest insurance rates in the world.
