It doesn't matter how much. If you are looking for an amount jack up the lower control arm two full pumps for each wheel. Just don't super compress the spring. Not more than what it will see on the street.

So basically wait a couple of weeks before I get an alignment? Anywhere I should go that won't scratch my wheels?

Hmmm.. my driverside still seems slightly higher than my passenger side but the front is definitely lower now. It's too late to do the rear and it's getting cold.
I'll do the rears first thing in the morning.

You don't need to remove the control arms to install the springs/shocks for the rear... but if you did, preload them.
Do I have to preload the rear still? I thought preloading was just to tq the UCA's in the front properly.
