To undo the sale was probably the path of least resistance for the seller.
I can completely understand it going this way if in fact this is the way it went.
Guess we won't know until Lon comes back and posts.

Closed group, but here's the post and the picture;
"Remember that guy from NY that got scammed for that white s2k from LA? My friend just took this picture at BMW of Glendale, the driver said its getting returned to Montery Park all the way from NY cause it was "missing parts" lol. I guess all that Internet hate worked out for the best."

The car will sell for sure and probably very quickly. What makes you think it won't? It's not the car's fault.

No argument there! I thought $33K was an obscene price the first time and was surprised anyone would pay that much for a modified car. Even more surprised someone would fly from the east coast and then ship the car back. The big shocker was the rip off.
A lesson would be to ship the car yourself. Supervise it onto the carrier rather than leave it for someone else to strip and ship.
Hopefully the settlement included damages to pay for the needless expenses. Buying a coast to coast airline ticket on short notice can be very expensive as is shipping a car.

Looks like the BMW above it took a shit and it spilled out of the diaper onto the right front fender of the S.
Gonna be a L O N G ride back to Cali ...... gonna need a full paint correction when and if it gets back.
All the support from this site and we get partial closure from Facebook, what is this world coming to?

Consider the source...
I'm sure this is not the only S in the world with the same configuration as the one the OP bought.
Lon said he would come here and update us as soon as he was able to legally, so given the fact that
this "resolution" came from Facebook, I would take that with MANY grains of salt!
