I bought a S2000 and got ripped off

Locals should get together, park their cars with signs about the scam/theft on the street in front of the store. Just hang out there and watch customers not do business with them. Maybe even call or e-mail a location TV station. Anyone wants to organize?

If any of us locals arrange it they'll know we're going and just have cops on stand by and clear us out. Which I guess would drive business away. I guess mass pm's?

Maybe, but then it's super easy to mend - he apologizes and sends a fat check or packs the stuff, provides freight tracking info and sends a check to cover the coilover install. He could do in a heart beat if he was going to. Both sides have said that lawyers are doing the talking now, which doesn't like amending, more like next level of fighting.

Since you're from New York there are lawyers who will work on a contingency basis for such a case. Also if you were to take him to court all you would need to do is convince the judge that the hardtop and the coilovers were "more likely" included in the sale and since you have the original ad listed it's pretty much a lock.
