I have this guy that wants to buy my rims and he wants to use paypal. I have a paypal account. What do I need to send him so I can receive his payment? I used paypal for buying things but never receiving funds.

just give him your paypal e-mail address and he just needs to click send money from his side.

Is he a member? How many posts does he have? Reputable? I would wait until it transfers into your bank account before shipping. Let him know this as well. Paypal wont help you get your $ if he scams you even though he is the buyer (he can use stolen CC).

Make sure that $$ is IN YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT, and not just your PayPal account, before you ship anything.

So, if you don't mind me asking, what is his screen name? PM if you'd like.... Or ask his local CO if he knows him. Kinda' like someone asking Billman for a reference for you. Know what I mean?

he is from the civicforum that was the only way i could sell these rims. We plan on meeting up somewhere in North Jersey because he lives in Queens. Here is his s/n on the civic forum is qnzlilshotta. I dunno if that will help. Thanks for the help guys

If he's meeting you in person, accept cash. No paypal. There is no excuse for him not having <$400 for wheels. If he has $400 in his paypal account, tell him to transfer it to HIS checking account and withdraw the money.
