My 401k is getting killed, i've also lost enough money in my personal investment account to buy a new S2000.... all else at least i still have my job.

Right now i really havent seen a decrease in productivity. if anything my area of work has gone up because people are repairing their Acura themselves. Parts retail and wholesale is good right now for me. Its steady. but i must say i have cut back eating out for lunch a lot. and im also driving a lot less to save gas.

Actually none of you have lost anything in your 401k's unless you've cashed out.

It's not affecting me however working for a telecommunication company is tough because their biggest clients are in the financial sector. The more those companies struggle the more they push that back on us making cost savings more and more critical. Who knows if it'll affect the IT services we provide to them but its not a lock that's for sure.
