Unhappy How are the tough economic times affecting you?

Cutting Back on purchases?
Selling off things you have for cash/to get rid of payments?
Eating out less often?
Losing value in your investments?

Or is it not effecting you at all?

Well I'm a student but I work as a waiter for $$. I work in bronxville where the people have more (old) money than they know what to do with, so it really hasn't affected the restaurant.

Financial Advisor,

Hasn't affected me at all, I've actually made more money, due to people all wanting to move their funds around.

Hasn't really affected me. I mean, I try to drive a little more conservatively - but that's because I'm driving down to Queens every weekend now where I wasn't a few months ago.

Actually eat more now, too.

Yeah 401K went down the drain. Damn S&P 500. Biggest drop since 2002.

Also with the bad economy makes my job better haha. I'm a loss prevention manager so the worse the economy the more people try and steal.
