Wanted one since they came out. Got promoted twice in the last year and figured I should get myself one. Financed it though. Didn't really want to spend all that cash at once. I lose in the long run but oh well. Now I got my S2000 right in time for winter. DD it though so still get to have some fun, but winter and salt and snow and all is not so nice. Wash my car almost every day now.
Got two cars now so insurance for two cars when your only 23 sucks! $400 combined.

been working as an electronics engineer since 2000 and saved up my pennies. moved up the ranks real quick and was able to afford more than one car and a mortgage.

bought the s2k as an 05 leftover in 06. financed only 10k and paid it off in 7-8 months.

Work and save, dont spent money on hotties, you'll get them when you got the S. Bought a Camry cash as my working horse then save up for 2 years, bought n paid paid off my S. My S now is a P-SS- magnet .

i won a law suit for $78,000 because i sat on a thumb tac in school as a kid!

joking
no not really, it was all spur of the moment....decided i wanted a new car....looked online...found an s2000 in white plains, drove up and test drove it, and laid a down payment. went back a week later and signed all the papers. 8 months paid and another 40 months to pay it off
