How can you afford to buy your S?
#11
I took some time off from school, traveled for a year, and reavaluated my priorities. I wasn't ready to go back to school, so i looked for a job. I got one at a dealership, and found i could sell cars relatively well. A S2000 came in on a trade for cheap and i took it for a test drive! It was over after that and i had to have it! I took out a loan, and bought the car later that week!
In just over one year of ownership, I have driven over 20K miles, due to ill informed decisions and bad luck I am on my 3rd motor and have learnt how to take apart the entire car! If you would have told me a year and a half ago that i could do motor swaps, part out an entire car, headgaskets, cam changes, clutch changes, turbo installs and most importantly met some of nicest down to earth people, i would have called you crazy! i love Metro!

tons of saving. Got a better paying job then I decided to look for a new car since I still had my first car. I told myself I will not settle for anything that I don't love in every way. Came down to the S and m3 but couldn't afford to maintain the m3 so I chose the S and I am glad I did.
