This is an article I read today, I am sure that many of you also saw it. It has me really amazed -- my jaw is nearly hanging open:

Could it possibly have something to do with the fact that the roadways give off more heat than forest/grass/etc?

I dunno, just a thought. Very interesting.

My dad used to raise homing pigeons when we were kids. He released one on rt 17 going upstate, and it returned home in about 48 hrs, to the Hamptons.

Would have made it faster if it either had exact change or ez-pass; and that Cross bronx can be a bitch !!
